Inactivity leads to bone and muscle atrophy. About 1% of lumbar spine mass is lost per week during hospitalization. Movement in bed does not reverse bone loss. Standing two or more hours per day does but I would prefer to move when I’m upright. I’m guessing you would, too. Here is your chance. Modifications taught for safety. If you are able to walk and move, you will be able to follow along in this class. If you are strong and fit, you will learn some great moves, too!

Exercise builds bone mass by increasing the flow of nutrients to bones and stimulating the activity of osteoclasts and osteoblasts. Muscle mass is the most accurate predictor of bone strength and stronger back muscles equate to stronger vertebrae and hip bones.
