Are you starting to lean forward when you stand or walk? Concerned about developing a dowager’s hump as you age? It’s never too early—or too late—to address these concerns and improve your posture!
In this three-class series taught at Hudson Valley Community College (HVCC), you’ll learn how to develop a healthier, upright posture and may even discover that you gain a little height along the way. Through targeted techniques and movement practices, you’ll build strength, flexibility, and awareness to help you stand taller, move more freely, and feel more confident in your body.

Who Should Join?
This course is ideal for anyone ready to prioritize their posture and overall well-being. You’ll need to be able to get on and off the floor for certain techniques, but modifications will be provided to suit participants’ varying needs.

- A yoga mat

- Dress in loose, comfortable clothing
