The data is increasingly clear...

MUSCLE LOSS IS NOT A NORMAL PART OF AGING

People often feel like their muscles get weaker as the years go by. And it’s true that muscle loss is one of the main reasons that people lose their independence as they get older. That’s because muscle loss sets many other problems into motion:

Weakness that makes daily tasks harder

Poor balance that feels risky

Fear of bending, lifting, or falling

Fatigue that stops life in its tracks

DIFFICULTY WORKING OUT OR EXERCISING

Movements you used to do easily now feel unsafe

But when you train your body the right way, weakness can be reversed. Strength and independence can come back even if you have been struggling for years.

Ready to learn how?

MEET YOUR HOST

Eileen Kopsaftis

Eileen Kopsaftis, BS, PT, FAFS, CMI, NE has been helping people resolve pain and age well since 1994 in settings such as nursing homes, long-term rehab, homecare, hospitals, and orthopedic outpatient. She has spent thirty years researching and seeking truths related to pain and aging. Eileen’s approach has empowered hundreds of people to literally reverse many of the common ‘symptoms’ of aging such as joint pain, poor balance, stooped posture, muscle loss, and the need for disposable underwear. Her approach is based on the mostly unknown truths of human movement, powerful self-care methods, and science-based nutrition education combined.

Eileen’s passion is to teach people how to radically reduce the risk of ending up in a nursing home. This led to the creation of the Have Lifelong Wellbeing Academy to equip people to successfully age without pain and decline. She truly believes we all can have lifelong wellbeing.

Eileen is the author of two international bestsellers, PAIN CULPRITS! Surprising Truths Behind Pain, How to Uncover the Cause, and What to Do About It and her newest book AGING CULPRITS! 12 Myths That Sabotage Your Future and Steal Your Joy.
